Panos Papadopoulos will be on hand to sign copies of the new book, Lilla boken om Panos: historien om den ikoniska badmodedesignern (The Little Book of Panos: the Story of the Iconic Swimwear Designer) at Bokmässan, the Göteborg Book Fair, on Saturday, September 28, at the Tukan förlag stand, B07:42. He’ll be there from 2 to 2.30 p.m.
All signs are that the new book is selling well, and we’ve seen copies in Sweden and Finland.
You’ll get a chance to meet the king of swimwear himself, talk about fashion, and be inspired by his decades-long journey.
As a sign of the times, Nordstrom says it will open a new Nordstrom Rack, its off-price store, in Holbrook, NY, in autumn 2025.
The company says the 27,000 ft² location will be at the Shops in SunVet, a shopping centre that includes Whole Foods Market and Starbucks. It is located on the corner of Sunrise Highway and Veterans’ Memorial Highway. This adds to Nordstrom’s NY presence, where it has five Nordstrom stores and eleven Rack stores, generating over 2,000 jobs statewide.
Bata, a brand which has a long heritage, celebrates 130 years with a new campaign, Make Your Way. Bata wants to attract a younger audience, with the focus on style, comfort and affordability. The &Rosàs agency developed the campaign with Bata.
The European market will see a special anniversary Ballerina shoe, a reinterpretation of its original Batovka, launched in 1897.
