Hennes & Mauritz will contribute to UNICEF with a children’s T-shirt in 100 per cent organic cotton, to be sold from March 31 in Sweden.
Twenty per cent of the T-shirts’ sales will be donated.
The unisex T-shirt is available for Kr 79,50 in H&M’s children’s department, fitting sizes 86 to 128.
The ‘För varenda unge’ (for every kid) campaign is in its fourth year.
The retailer has a global partnership with UNICEF, with projects dealing with girls’ education, HIV and Aids prevention in Cambodia and children’s rights in Uzbekistan. A five-year project was announced with UNICEF in 2009, protecting children’s rights in the cotton fields of Tamil Nadu, India, funded by a donation of US$4·5 million from H&M.
