XOXO brings back Hugs & Kisses with Ellie Thumann

As we indicated both online and in print, the 1990s are definitely back in vogue, with XOXO reviving its Hugs & Kisses campaign—this time with model and YouTuber Ellie Thumann.

Thumann follows in the footsteps of Claudia Schiffer, Adriana Lima, Miranda Kerr, Tyra Banks, Alessandra Ambrosio, Chrissy Teigen and others.

Thumann’s photographs are meant to evoke the simple imagery of the 1990s.

‘We are so excited to be working with Ellie,’ said XOXO licensing director Joey Carney. ‘We really took some time to evaluate what “supermodel” means to the brand and the younger generations today and felt that it was so much more than just a beautiful face. Not only is Ellie beautiful on the outside, but she is extremely connected and relatable to her followers as well as an advocate for important issues in our society such as mental health and well-being.’
