Messika staged its high jewellery show in Paris with a 1970s theme, showcasing its Midnight Sun collection, comprising 140 designs.

VIPs included Cher, Ester Expósito, Taraji P. Henson, Nicola Coughlan, Kelly Rowland, Ed Westwick and Amy Jackson, Joy Crookes, Sara Sampaio, Damson Idris, Tinx, Leonie Hanne, Aimée Song, Karen Wazen, Maria Borges, and Patti Wilson.

Inspired by the famous clubs of the ’70s such as Studio 54, the Palace and Chez Régine, the collection has what the brand calls a ‘resolutely subversive spirit’, using yellow diamonds, snow-setting, magnetic wear, pearls, and colour contrasts.

Artistic director Valérie Messika also showed a Solar Diva set with an intense yellow diamond, weighing c. 35 ct. It is one of the biggest Messika has ever set.

The clothing was designed by Nix Lecourt Mansion, with exclusive looks set with diamonds created in collaboration with Valérie Messika. Hélèna Tejedor styled the 30 looks.

Carla Bruni, Taylor Hill, Adut Akech, Alton Mason, Grace Elisabeth, Maya Teodora Savić, Matea Brakus, Malika El-Maslouhi, Jinrong Huang, Jodie Woods, Jade Nguyễn and Catarina Guedes were among the catwalk models. Ashley Graham presented the show.

Singer Ava Max performed live at the conclusion of the evening.
