Adrian Hailwood, one of New Zealand’s most celebrated designers, is pulling back from having a physical retail presence, with the February closure of his retail store on Karangahape Road, Auckland.
This will effectively allow Mr Hailwood to focus on designing, and use the infrastructure and support of his business partner, Annah Stretton.
Mr Hailwood says while he enjoyed having the interaction with his customers, he wishes to ‘create a trading platform that will provide a return.’
There will be a focus toward online sales, with his T-shirts at www.annahstretton.co.nz, and previews at www.hailwood.co.nz.
