Angela Lewis, profiled in issue 27 of Lucire, has been very busy. She has continued her Style Workshops (above and left) as well as presented her autumn–winter 2010 looks at a New Zealand Fashion Week-related event for Westpac, where she showcased her new suiting shapes and key themes. On the new designs, ‘My 20 years in this trade and the tailored garment construction aspects have been really put to the test,’ she told Lucire.
New to the Angela Lewis world, meanwhile, is her bespoke suiting services at her boutique at 11 Teed Street, Newmarket, Auckland, New Zealand (64 9 522-2292). Using pure wool fabrics from Dormeuil of France, Lewis is taking advantage of the rise in jackets, and giving women a chance to put their unique touch on tailoring.
