Cybèle Wiren’s Cybèle label will open its first stand-alone store at 62 Ponsonby Road, Auckland, on March 1, with her autumn–winter 2011 range, Nieriya, kicking off sales.
‘The store is about creating a uniquely “us” space where the emphasis is on the brand and our æsthetic,’ says Wiren.
The designer has said she was always drawn to Ponsonby as a retail district, calling it ‘eclectic’.
‘This is definitely the boutique fashion hub of Auckland and we are thrilled to finally become a permanent fixture,’ she says.
