DFS Group has announced the Foundations of Beauty, what it describes as a ‘bookable one-on-one complimentary beauty school’, available in-store every Saturday and Sunday this August.
The course brings in experts for individual, hour-long tutorials dealing with skin, brows and enhancing one’s features, while showcasing the brands that DFS has on offer.
DFS promises top talent from Auckland, specializing in skin care, brows and make-up.
Customers should book ahead for two people per session. The tutorial itself lasts 50 minutes, and comprises a skin care analysis, brow grooming, and professional makeover advice.
Cocktails are served during afternoon sessions from 1 to 5 p.m., or a glass of champagne outside the happy hours. Guests can receive a voucher to spend in-store after the event, and go into a draw for a NZ$400 voucher.

Fifteen-minute skin consultations are also available in store through August.
