Pharrell Williams has been named Louis Vuitton’s creative director for menswear, with his first collection to be unveiled in June during Paris’s men’s fashion week.

‘I am glad to welcome Pharrell back home, after our collaborations in 2004 and 2008 for Louis Vuitton, as our new men’s creative director,” said Louis Vuitton chairman and CEO Pietro Beccari. ‘His creative vision beyond fashion will undoubtedly lead Louis Vuitton towards a new and very exciting chapter.’

Mango and Californian brand Simonmiller have collaborated on a capsule collection for summer 2023, launching May. The collection comprises ready-to-wear, footwear, handbags and accessories, and blends Simonmiller’s mod US west coast vibe, as directed by its CEO Chelsea Hansford, with Mango’s Mediterranean style.

Ethical jeweller Lily Arkwright has announced its sponsorship of the Manchester Film Festival.

Lily Arkwright specializes in lab-grown, ethical and sustainable jewellery. Kate Munns, its operations’ manager, believes a shift is under way where consumers will demand sustainability metrics from jewellery. The event will align Lily Arkwright with creative and independent thinkers. Its ethical diamond campaign will be used at the festival.
