Secret Room Events once again rolled out the red carpet and celebrity arrival area on the rooftop patio of the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles. While the event was staged on Friday the 13th (September), it was a lucky day for vendors and attendees. It fell two days after the end of a week-long heat wave that had most of the Los Angeles area baking at record-breaking temperatures, leaving the perfect weather for all to enjoy the rooftop festivities.

The fever broke just in time for all invited guests and press to enjoy the fall harvest of beauty products (customizable Mikel Kristi Skincare, MarigoldBub Ayurvedic Skincare, Ellovi’s multi-tasking skin care, La Da Vie Skincare, Gentlemen 1677 Cologne for the guys, and New Zealand’s very own SenQuil skin care with mānuka honey and other good things) and ready-for-Hallowe’en treats (co-sponsors Phantomasy and Andersen’s Crazy Candy, plus the Hair Forge accessories, Shadowcraft Jewelry, and Poppin’ Love popcorn).

While Mario Meléndez of Rasta Rita Margarita and Beverage truck served up their famous margaritas to all attendees, Smoodi was on hand to demonstrate their smoothie-making invention and TeaVoila’s gourmet teas placed in easy-to-use portable and recyclable cups. Scosche Tech Accessories, meanwhile, offered several useful gadgets for avid smartphone users (basically, everybody) including a stainless steel combination water bottle and phone mount, and the GetCrewd Party Card Game. As casual clothing is always a requirement for a gifting suite, ‘Be Kind’ sweatshirts and totes by HayMad & Co. did not disappoint.

Honoured guests left with a giant L. L. Bean bag loaded with additional items from the sponsors on hand: HayMad & Co., Simple bars, MiGuard migraine alleviation supplements, Rachel Tribble, Boujee Bartender cocktail garnishing, Holey Moley Golf Club, Barney Butter, Brutus Bone Broth for four-legged family members, Oceanshalo.com, CarlReadsminds.com, Dooplikit (to create your own custom action figure), Treefrog Topical Pain Relief Gel, Rejuva Minerals, Inc., LipSips, Candier by Ryan Porter, ILT Health, NeeDoh from Schylling toys, the Little Lakeland Soap Company, Our Only Earth, Major Comeback skin care, MyBigFatCookie.com, Slimes by Grace, a ShipShapeStyles bracelet, stationery by Cardideology, Once upon a Coconut, and ĒcōMD revitalizing eye cream.

While Secret Room Events produces exclusive, buzzy gift suites and gift bags, we at Lucire love that these events support and promote many entrepreneurial enterprises, especially women- and minority-owned companies doing their part to make life more beautiful, enjoyable, and interesting. As always, the vendors on site and contributing to the bags are all winners on many levels.

Morgan Publicity, Allure PR Group, and Ferrara Media teamed up to kick off the week with the For Your Consideration Style Suite, a pre-Emmy styling and gifting lounge. Rather than go the splashy-themed route, it went the way of wellness with Vitamin IV Drips and B-12 shots, Mini Manicures by Nail Garden, SLMD Skincare by Dr Pimple Popper, Pūrlisse, and VSOTO Skincare, born from the famous Ole Henriksen Spa, plus luxe fragrance from France’s Parfums de Marly and LaFonn Jewelry’s sparkling statement pieces and everyday sparklers.
