President Obama broke ground on a new lithium ion battery cell plant in Holland, Michigan, and got his first look at the Chevrolet Volt plug-in electric hybrid car. The plant will manufacture battery cells for the new Volt, and, along with eight others, is expected to generate thousands of jobs.
