As the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show takes shape for broadcast later this month on CBS, model Lily Aldridge is getting fitted with her wings and tries on some of her outfits.
Los Angeles-born Aldridge first appeared on the Victoria’s Secret catwalk in 2009.
The Fashion Show will broadcast on November 30.
Meanwhile, in the former capital of Almaty, young Kazakh designers get to showcase their work at their 10th fashion week. The video features both catwalk and behind-the-scenes footage.

Finally, BMW has announced it will produce a sports car that features plug-in hybrid technology. At the Leipzig Trade Fair Centre, it presented a road-ready show car based on its 2009 BMW Vision Efficient Dynamics concept study. The vehicle has an output of 241 kW (328 PS, or 323 hp) and an average fuel consumption of 3·76 l/100 km (75 mpg Imperial, 63 mpg US). That’s better than a Toyota Prius. It has a 0–60 mph time of 4·8 seconds.
The BMW Vision uses a three-cylinder turbodiesel along with electric motors at each axle.
