Lancôme’s German Moyano, who seems to be the brand’s main make-up artist for its videos now, introduces its latest collection, Noirs Perles (pearly blacks, rather than black pearls as some have translated).
In the first video, he works on Céline, using the Ombre Absolue Mono eye-shadow. This is a purple–black, which ties in with the lavender shades of the season. He enlarges the eye’s appearance with the Kohl pencil. Lancôme’s Hypnôse Precious Cells mascara is used to finish off the effect around the eyes. The Absolue Rouge lipstick completes the look.
In the second, Moyano creates a green, smoky-eye look, again using the Kohl pencil. The Ombre Absolue Mono eye-shadow has a green–black, as does the Hypnôse Precious Cells mascara. A skin-colour Absolue Rouge is used this time, completing the look. The techniques are similar, but the shades differ to suit each model.
