The Vogue Festival 2012, in association with Vertu, was the must-attend celeb event on the London calendar on Friday, held at the Royal Geographic Society.
The event saw Vertu hold a cocktail party and private debate, with a panel discussing whether technology shapes desire, or vice versa. Participants for the debate were Perry Oosting, president of Vertu, fashion illustrator David Downton, Net-a-Porter founder Natalie Massenet, and designer Erdem Moralioglu.
Guests, meanwhile, included British Vogue editor-in-chief Alexandra Shulman, Stella McCartney, Kate Hudson, Eva Herzigova, Gemma Chan, Nyasha, Erin O’Connor, Edie Campbell, Cara Delevingne, Laura Bailey, Leah Weller, Rachel Zoë, Christopher Kane, Tamsin Egerton and Pixie Geldof.
Event highlights can be seen on Vertu.com and on Vertu handsets via Vertu Select.
‘Vertu is immensely excited about its involvement with the first-ever Vogue Festival, a unique event which will allow the public to see and hear some of the biggest names in fashion today, as well as engaging with interesting issues and topics around the fashion and luxury industries,’ said Oosting in a release.
Vertu also unveiled its Constellation Candy touch smartphone, aimed at a female audience.
