The big Festival de Cannes event on Wednesday night was the de Grisogono Glam Extravaganza, hosted by company boss Fawaz Gruosi at the Hôtel du Cap Eden-Roc in the Cap d’Antibes. Most-photographed at the event were sisters Nicky Hilton and Paris Hilton, with WAG Irina Shayk and actress Milla Jovovich commanding plenty of attention.
Celebrities present included Chris Tucker, the reigning Miss Universe Leila Lopes (and with the delay in the pageant venue announcement, potentially the longest serving), Janet Jackson, Eva Cavalli, Robert Cavalli, Kelly Rutherford, Heidi Klum, Eugenie Niarchos, Tara Reid, Cecilia Cheung, Isabeli Fontana, Goga Ashkenazi, Elisabetta Gregoraci, Simona Ventura, Ana Beatriz Barros, Carolina Parsons, Shermine Shahrivar, Tamara Beckwith, Giorgio Veroni, Hanaa Ben Abdesslem, Ivana Trump, Lady Victoria Hervey, Tamara Ecclestone, Carine Roitfeld, Kelly Brook, Hofit Golan, Rose McGowan, Giovanna Battaglia, Fiona Swarovski, Victoria Silvstedt, Alec Baldwin and Hilaria Thomas, Boris Becker, and Carlo and Camilla di Borbone.
Taio Cruz performed at the event, followed by an extravagant song and dance number with Egyptian themes.
