Bendon and its sister brands have come forth with a huge amount of new releases for November, covering almost every type of intimate apparel customer.
Pleasure State’s My Fit range features a push-up, cup-sized pad to enhance cleavage, with three types: FMO (For Me Only), with lining and padding giving a more natural profile and support for sizes A to G; HMO (Hold My Own, shown at top), without padding, giving a low-cut plunging silhouette with a suede lining; and OMB (Oh My Bod), which enhances cleavage more substantially thanks to what the company calls ‘proportional projection enhancement’. The range is available from Myer from this month.
Loveable’s autumn–winter 2013 collection, meanwhile, takes its inspiration from 1960s’ mod culture, featuring colour blocking and floral prints. The names of the styles take you back to the swinging decade, with a poppy print called Gabriella, a lipstick red called Brigitte, and an antique white called Emmanuelle. It’s also flirty and colourful over at Evollove, a clever palindrome of a brand name marking out the group’s youthful D to G line, with its Escapade collection (below).
Elle Macpherson Intimates, meanwhile, probably has the most evocative inspiration, viz. the work of Paul Gaugin and the Fauvists (above). Its Tahitian Rainforest collection has ‘lush, tropical patterns with stylish European sophistication,’ with fine detailing and rich colours. The maternity range continues to be offered, in similar styles.
