London Fashion Week autumn–winter 2013–14, day four: Burberry Prorsum a highlight among a strong group

Burberry Prorsum was fashion editor Sopheak Seng’s pick today: ‘Christopher Bailey’s Midas touch continues to touch the Burberry label and its evolution of style,’ he says.
It’s no surprise that Burberry would receive this praise above the others: Bailey’s Trench Kisses collection is romantic and advances the trench coat with double-breasted looks, heart prints, metal collars, leopard spots, studs and oversized buttons, complementing pencil skirts and dresses to suit. The colour palette was black, maroon, red and caramel. While there was no tartan, Bailey still managed to keep the Burberry spirit alive.
We also have a few celebrity interviews from the Burberry show, with Rita Ora (who wore a Cara Delevingne T-shirt there), Cara Delevingne, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Douglas Booth, Kate Beckinsale and Tom O’Dell, plus comments from Bailey himself. Bailey discusses his collection and the use of Romeo Beckham, the son of David and Victoria Beckham, as one of its spokesmodels for spring 2013.
