Karl Lagerfeld’s spring–summer 2022 collection has been launched in China, blending a rock-chic style and French elegance. Dubbed Life 2·0, it draws inspiration from the elements of nature—land, air, fire and water—with its prints, fabrics and colour schemes.
Floral and zebra prints also mark out this season, as seen on parkas and silk dresses. There are English embroidery and cut-out detailing, and little touches nodding to logomania with KL lettering. The season also brings ultra-lightweight tailored coats, eco-leather shirts and suits, soft knitted sweaters and multi-purpose trench coats.
For men, the logo can be seen on denim suits, knitwear and outerwear, as well as botanical prints on shirts, T-shirts, trousers, and a reversible nylon bomber jacket.
There’s also a wide variety of accessories, with nine new series added to the range (six for women and three for men).
