GHD is supporting breast cancer awareness with its limited-edition Pink collection for 2022.
The collection comprises the Helios professional hairdryer (NZ$360), the Platinum+ styler (NZ$420), the Gold styler (NZ$350), and the limited-edition Glide hot brush (NZ$290).
Breast cancer is the most common form of cancer for New Zealand women, and research suggests one in six under 45 do not check their breasts for changes.
There are 2·3 million women globally who are diagnosed with breast cancer each year. That number is 3,500 in New Zealand, or nine per day.
GHD’s Take Control Now campaign reminds women to check their breasts for signs of breast cancer. With every Pink edition purchase, NZ$20 goes to Breast Cancer Foundation New Zealand.
Globally, GHD has raised over NZ$22 million to date over the last 18 years for breast cancer charities. Take Control Now has run for the past two years.
