Chanel’s spring–summer 2022 eyewear campaign, fronted by Rianne van Rompaey, Blesnya Minher, and Pan Haowen, has been shot by Karim Sadli in black and white. The campaign comprises six images, showing the principal categories of the designs: classic, retro, square, rectangular, and aviator. Customers can choose between sunglass and optical.
The double-C motif is present, while the styles themselves vary between a 1960s design with thin metal frames and leather-clad temples, large square acetate sunglasses with a thin frame, and an optical butterfly frame. Chanel notes that the removable metal chain featuring charms is one of the distinctive hallmarks of this latest collection.
Sadli also directed the video spots for the campaign.
