Ringing in Brides’ 75th anniversary

News

February 8, 2009/12.30

The biggest jewellery competition we managed to do was nearly NZ$20,000 for a necklace; Condé Nast’s Brides has gone one better with two rings valued at over US$18,000.
In association with de Beers, the ring, named the Duo, commemorates the magazine’s 75th anniversary. It is ‘a platinum engagement ring and a wedding band in one, interlaced together and featuring white diamonds,’ says the company.
The rings will be unveiled on February 10 along with special ‘bridal windows’ at de Beers stores across the US, including the flagship Fifth Avenue store. It will also be featured in the March issue of Brides.
One Brides reader will be treated to the Duo and a matching diamond wedding band.
