My friends Donna Spangler and Richie Benveniste have been in contact with Donna’s new TV comedy, Weather Girls. They’ve just come back from Cannes, as Weather Girls has sold in Europe.
Donna produces, and stars with Lynne Langdon (who also wrote and directed the première episode) and Simona Fusco Stratten.
The Cannes première screened at the Mint during the Festival.
While there, Donna and co. were also the subject of a German TV show for Prosieben, Luxurious Ladies.
I met Donna and Richie a few years ago when Donna was promoting her book, The Princess Formula: How to Get a Rich Man. I hope this latest venture goes well for them—I’ve seen a few clips of Weather Girls and it does look like a good laugh.
