Sony Ericsson staged a unique tennis game on Nov. 3 to commemorate the start of the Sony Ericsson Championships in Doha, Qatar. Ana Ivanovic of Serbia (above) and Elena Dementieva of Russia played a historic match on Palm Island in the middle of Doha Bay in the Arabian Gulf, with the Doha skyline in the background. The tournament runs from November 4 to 9 and is the season ?nalé of the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour 2008.
