Continuing the luxury theme at the Salon de Genève, Rolls-Royce will show an all-electric prototype, the 102EX, this week.
As car companies adjust to the new realities of the 21st century and the need for alternative drivetrains, the 102EX has been created to be a test-bed for a brand that hasn’t traditionally been known for saving fuel.
The 102EX will tour the world after its Genève début, and will help Rolls-Royce gather data on to make decisions about those future drivetrains.
Owner BMW has already invested in an i range of vehicles based around electric power, launching in 2013.
