Jennifer López signed as face of Tous Jewellery

Tous Jewellery has announced that it has signed Jennifer López to be its spokesmodel, in a campaign shot by Ellen von Unwerth.
   The Barcelona-based jewellery company will début López as the face of its brand for spring 2011.
   ‘We are absolutely delighted to have the iconic Jennifer López be the face of Tous’s spring campaign,’ says designer Rosa Tous.
   Salvador Tous, president emeritus of Tous, says, ‘We are confident that Jennifer López will be a great spokesperson as she is genuine and endlessly charismatic; a great illustration of our brand.’
   López, a musical icon with record sales numbering 55 million, has most recently appeared in commercials for Gillette Venus, for which she was its first global ambassador (left). She is one of the current judges for American Idol, the US version of Pop Idol.
   Tous, founded in 1920, is a high-end, family-owned luxury company with its roots in jewellery.
