Thousands of fashion lovers gathered in front of Romania’s first H&M store at AFI Palace Cotroceni to commemorate its opening on March 25. The two-storey, 1,700 m² store is now open for Romanian customers to discover the latest trends and timeless classics.
The ribbon was cut by Karl-Johan Persson, CEO, and Carlos Duarte, Country Manager, Romania, and the two store managers, Alina Cristea and Doina Bunea. VIP celebrities, media, stylists and socialites such as Andreea Raicu, Laura Cosoi, Andi Moisescu, Smiley, Iulia Vantur and Andreea Esca attended the event.
Prices range from 40 to 100 lei; opening hours are Monday to Thursday from 10.00 to 22.00, and Friday to Sunday from 10.00 to 23.30.
H&M plans to open five more stores in Romania, four in București and one in Brașov. Two further stores will open in Cluj and Timișoara during the autumn.—Ella Garland-Levett
