Film director Daniel Askill has shot a short film to promote Australian label Ksubi and its coloured denim range.
Entitled Kolors, the film sees the return of Ksubi’s coloured denim, modelled by Bambi Northwood-Blythe, Cisco Gorrow and Heidi Harrington-Johnson, and shot at an industrial area near Sydney’s Kingsford Smith International Airport.
The models “battle” three XD and XE Ford Falcons, early 1980s Australian muscle cars.
Askill and his Collider team used a Phantom camera and shot the footage at 1,500 frames per second. The models leap over the charging Falcons.
The coloured denim range returns to Ksubi today (May 5) in white, blue, orange, green, black, purple, red, plum, aged blue, aged green, aged yellow, aged black and aged pink, complemented by Unisex Ksubi classic T-shirt prints. Men’s and women’s styles are available.
