Chanel mæstro Karl Lagerfeld has made a short film to promote the house’s cruise 2011–12 collection, called The Tale of a Fairy. It will screen at the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc at the Cap d’Antibes today (May 9) and will be available at Chanel.com on May 10 at 9 p.m. GMT.
Below is the trailer for the film, which stars, inter alia, Anna Mouglalis, Amanda Harlech, Kristen McMenamy, Freja Beha, Bianca Balti, Baptiste Giabiconi, Brad Koening, Jake Davies, Mark Vanderloo, Oriol Elcacho, Sébastien Jondeau, and Seth Kuhlmann.
‘It is a movie about an ill-advised use of money which begins with violence and ends with feeling,’ says Lagerfeld.
The finished movie is half an hour long.
