Our latest from New York Fashion Week: Chris Benz showed his autumn–winter 2012–13 collection at Avery Fisher Hall, normally the venue for the New York Philharmonic Orchestra.
His coats, cardigans and big poufy wigs—not to mention plenty of silk and beading—went over the top, as one would expect from a designer often nicknamed the Prince of Colour. To make the effect even more glittery, Benz showed the models on pedestals, against a bright, golden backdrop.
In addition to the Benz collection, our Stephen Ciuccoli was also at Nanette Lepore, Joanna Mastroianni, and J. Mendel.
