Find That Style

For years, we’ve noticed people coming to the Lucire website asking for advice on where to buy a certain item that they’ve watched on television. A new website solves that: Find That Style tracks hundreds of US TV shows, including Gossip Girl, Glee and Pretty Little Liars and provides precisely that information.
Find That Style boasts a proprietary technology that identifies items, and while the site is user-driven, the bulk of its data comes from its own internal experts.
Presently the site tracks 100 TV shows across 22 networks, and has 12 people on its team tagging and identifying items. Find That Style has 300,000 TV show images and 60,000 items have been tagged.
Exact matches are offered via the site, as well as related items that visitors may be interested in.
The shows are checked the night they air, and images from them are up within 24 hours.
Not everything is identified: users are expected to select what they want and the Find That Style team gets to work.
It plans to expand through widgets, giving webmasters the opportunity to earn money by tapping in to the site’s data.
