Façonnable, founded in the 1950s, is now going after a younger consumer with the launch of the Façonnable Jeans’ Collection.
The spring–summer 2011 collection, just announced, marks another stage in the relaunch of the Façonnable brand. In the medium term, Façonnable’s owner plans to open free-standing boutiques, and has appointed ex-VF and Levi Strauss executive Bruno Pfalzgraf as the managing director of the jeans’ business.
Maher Mikati, one of the shareholders of the business through his family’s M1 Group, currently leads Façonnable’s brand management. Façonnable is currently M1’s only retail fashion brand.
