Hetty Rose has put its ready-to-wear collection on sale this month, with designer Henrietta Rose Samuels choosing her Mika, Yuki, Kiki, Haruka and Mami styles for release.
The styles, which have typically been hand-made with a six- to eight-week wait, now come in a ready-to-wear form from £180 retail.
Announced last year, these are the first signs of Hetty Rose’s ready-to-wear offerings, with bags, interiors, baby shoes and men’s ties projected for future collections.
Hetty Rose’s concept has been to reuse and rework vintage materials in a creative way. The principle is that wearing vintage doesn’t mean wearing something worn or old—Hetty Rose’s designs show that very creative styles can come from being sustainable.
