Lancôme is back for the New Year with its first video, promoting the spring 2011 make-up collection by Tauranga, New Zealand-born Aaron de Mey. It’s make-up artist German Moyano once again guiding us through, in French (with subtitles), using the Ultra-Lavande make-up and how you can get this season’s eye colours.
Lancôme predicts that the late-1970s’ look is back with the lavender colours.
The campaign itself, meanwhile, features Julia Restoin-Roitfeld, daughter of Carine Roitfeld, former Vogue Paris editor-in-chief, as its model. Lancôme has released a what the French call a making-of, though the final commercial is not yet on YouTube.
