On Friday, September 2, Kathryn Wilson will be showing for the second time at the 2011 New Zealand Fashion Week. Unlike last year’s début where 1,000 guests from the fashion industry were invited as a thank-you for their support, this time around the doors are open to 3,000 shoe-obsessed members of the public to view her 2012 winter collection.
Entry into the show is free and guests can engage with the event either by RSVP on Facebook (www.facebook.com/KathrynWilsonFootwear), or text Kathryn to 761 for regular updates about the show. (Costs are free on Vodafone, and 20¢ on other networks, within New Zealand.) The evening will be capped off by a live performance by New Zealand singer–songwriter Kimbra.
This year’s show is all about thanking and celebrating the customers who love fashion, the Kathryn Wilson brand, and who want to see and experience fashion week first-hand, says the company.
