Luxury cellphone brand Vertu held a celebrity bash on Tuesday at the Palazzo Serbelloni in Milano to launch its first touch-screen handset, Constellation, with guests including Tilda Swinton, Uma Thurman, Chanel Iman (who DJed), Michelle Yeoh, Clive Owen, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Heidy Allende and David Gandy.
The phone offers more than craftsmanship. Recognizing the lifestyle of its customers, Vertu provides a range of luxury information and services through its Concierge service.
Vertu gives customers potential access to what it calls ‘a generous global network of private members’ lifestyle and business clubs’, including bars, dining and business facilities.
Vertu president Perry Oosting acted as host for the evening. The centrepiece of the event at the Palazzo was an installation designed by Vertu brand ambassador and Chinese architect, Ma Yansong, shown in its courtyard.
In addition to relaunching its website, available in eight languages, Vertu has also reopened its via Montenapoleone boutique.
