Australian skateboard brand Pass Port and New Zealand retailer Arcade have teamed up to commemorate Anzac Day—showing that the spirit of brotherhood between the two nations continues.
Arcade, in the Ironbank building on Karangahape Road and Cross Street in Auckland, has managed to cross many boundaries with its customers—and fashion is just one of the many that the shop appeals to.
Pass Port, meanwhile, has released a limited-edition collection in remembrance of troops from both countries who fell during World War I, comprising a deck, T-shirt and Ebbets Field Flannels cap.
Rather than concentrate on trans-Tasman rivalry, Pass Port celebrates Australia and New Zealand’s shared heritage.
Part of the proceeds go to the Anzac Poppy appeal, supporting veterans.
The collection goes on sale in Australia this week and at Arcade from Thursday. Pre-orders are available online at www.arcadestore.co.nz.
