Eighteen finalists head into Wella Professionals Trend Vision Award’s New Zealand nationals

Eighteen finalists are in the running to represent New Zealand at the Wella Professionals Trend Vision Award 2012 in Madrid, Spain in October.
   A national final will be held on September 17 in Auckland, with the finalists competing in the Colour or Young Talent categories. A People’s Choice Award will also be given, where netizens can cast their vote, either through the Wella Trend Vision website (between July 2 and August 31) and at the Facebook fan page.
   The gold winners in each category will head off to Spain for the international Trend Vision Award on October 28, competing with over 50 countries.
   The highest-scoring entry by an apprentice in each region wins a Trend Vision Apprentice award and one year of Wella education. This year, Michaela Powell (Blaze), Martin Cullen (Getfunkd Manners) and Nicole Knox (Zaibatsu Hair Art) were honoured.
