A Lucire special promotion
De Grisogono’s jewellery has featured numerous times in Lucire, especially at the Festival de Cannes, but its watches have often been fashion statements of their own.
De Grisogono’s Tondo by Night watches require 45 minutes’ exposure to light, natural or artificial, for them to light up from the inside, thanks to condensed light in the case and buckle material. The composite, called Pearly Photo-luminescent Fibreglass, is exclusive to de Grisogono and features mother-of-pearl particles.
Tondo by Night also features a reversed oscillating weight on the dial side. The Calibre SF 30-89 movement has a 42-hour power reserve.
Forget the metallic look: you can have shiny watches with bright colours—white, yellow, pink, green, purple and orange—in trend with the latest fashions.
Plus there are other precious stones through the self-winding mechanism, mirroring the galuchat stingray hide grain on the strap. There is a black diamond on the crown, 48 gems on the bezel and 60 precious stones arranged in three rows on the oscillating weight. Depending on the model, there are white diamonds, sapphires, tsavorites or amethysts.
The design continues de Grisogono’s modern baroque style, blending classicism with clever technology.
The watches are luminescent and particularly startling at night, be they on the red carpet or at a nightclub.
