David Gandy is Red Nose Day’s new fashion ambassador, raising money for Comic Relief.
Gandy tells ITN that he has a number of initiatives planned under the banner of Blue Steel Appeal, referencing the male modelling movie Zoolander. The first is called ‘Blue Steel Looks’, where people, presumably celebrities, are asked to pose for charity.
The second is an auction in association with Ebay, featuring what Gandy calls ‘money can’t buy prizes [and] objects.’ Gandy says typically he will do something with himself, such as ‘dinners with myself or lunches’. Others will be providing items. The auction will be held on March 7.
Gandy’s last dinner date was a novelist from Texas, with whom he remains in touch, he says.
It is not Gandy’s first contact with the charity. Gandy appeared last year in an Absolutely Fabulous sketch for Sport Relief, alongside Emma Bunton, Kate Moss, Stella McCartney, Linford Christie, David Haye and Colin Jackson.
Red Nose Day takes place on March 15.

There was an article published just the other day about David Gandy and in all the comments the people noted how old he is beginning to look. David is looking much older than his age and I noted that was true even though he looks gorgeous but his complexion is looking dry. Most people guessed mid 40’s Perhaps the blue still trick is placing undue wrinkles above his nose and on his forehead. I think our favorite should consider freshening up a bit. Don’t you? When David smiles, it’s like the sun peeking out from a cloud after a violent storm. He has the most beautiful smile I’ve seen of a man and we see it so seldom.
