Dress for Success is asking Australians to donate an hour of their pay this month to help them reach their A$250,000 goal to help women overcome the barrier of unemployment.
All donations made directly support vulnerable women with professional attire, career development training, networking opportunities, mentoring, and other resources to help them get into the workforce, succeed, and be financially independent.
‘The Empower Hour campaign is an incredible opportunity for Australians to come together and support each other. Every donation makes a difference in a woman’s life—it could be the difference between financial independence or remaining in poverty,’ said Leisa Salder, Dress for Success Sydney’s CEO.
Dress for Success is halfway at its goal but needs the extra boost if it is to help over 700 women succeed with the right tools in their job searches. Readers can donate at www.empowerhour.org.au.
