Québecois label Simons has released its spring 2023 Édito by Simons collection of high-end staples, comprising 10 items, including a point-collar trench coat, a knitted dress, a poplin, belted, tiered shirt-dress, and a watercolour- and botanical-themed silk dress.
This second Édito by Simons collection follows an earlier one that proved a hit for La Maison Simons.
Items are made around the world: the knit dress is made in Peru; the trouser denim is Moroccan-sourced, and the poplin for the blouse is made in Italy. The silk-printed pieces and the dark grey skirt are designed in Vancouver, and the long-sleeved jumper is made in Ontario.
The family-owned business’s VP of buying, Richard Simons, said, ‘It reaffirms our commitment to high-end fashion. It also demonstrates our agility and ability to develop exclusive products with our exceptional team of over 175 designers, creators and experts from the international fashion scene.’
Océane Stanislas, head of the new collection and Simons’ buying manager, added, ‘The timeless and complementary nature of the collection has not stopped us from being bold in our choices and offering pieces in silky, shimmering fabrics and feminine prints. We want to offer our customers the opportunity to build a functional yet bold wardrobe by presenting pieces that work equally well with each other, from one collection to the next.’
The collection is now available from simons.ca and at 10 Simons locations in Canada.
