Donna Karan New York’s spring 2024 campaign features eight icons: Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista, Amber Valletta, Shalom Harlow, Carolyn Murphy, Imaan Hammam, Karlie Kloss, and Liya Kebede, photographed by Annie Leibovitz, and video by Barbara Leibovitz Hellman. Shay Ashaul was on hair and Francelle Daly on make-up, with creative direction by Trey Laird.

Dubbed In Women We Trust, the campaign celebrates both Donna Karan’s heritage and makes a female-empowering statement for its future, essentially relaunching the brand. It also highlights Donna Karan’s ethos of timeless elegance and accessible luxury, harking back to her fall 1985 collection and its Seven Easy Pieces.

In Women We Trust is such a powerful statement,’ said Valletta. ‘We need more women to lead us into the future because women think differently.’

‘Donna represents strength and sensuality. You can be whoever you want to be,’ said Evangelista.

The spring collection comprises classic silhouettes, with draping one of its key features. ‘She introduced a new style of power dressing, which celebrated women and their bodies. That was her sweet spot, and it still is,’ said Crawford.

‘It’s not about the clothes, it’s always been about the woman in the clothes,’ added Valletta.

The collection is available from February 8 globally on donnakaran.com and in selected retailers.
