Anne Hathaway says she is ‘very pleased’ that she is in two films this year that ‘people will actually go to see,’ referring to The Dark Knight Rises and Les Misérables.
Hathaway plays Catwoman in the new Batman instalment, directed by Christopher Nolan, following in the footsteps of Eartha Kitt, Lee Meriwether, Julie Newmar, Michelle Pfeiffer and Halle Berry.
She says she got into the character even when off-set in the ITN video below, with a distinctive hairdo after having her locks cut short for Les Misérables. There are also behind-the-scenes photographs from The Dark Knight Rises.
The Dark Knight Rises débuts in the US and UK on July 20, while Les Misérables will be released next February.
