Piper-Heidsieck has released videos from its launch of the Jean Paul Gaultier-designed cuvée brut champagne bottle, which was unveiled at a VIP dinner on Friday.
Celebrities in attendance included Inès de la Fressange, Paz Vega, and Rossy de Palma.
Gaultier had already created a bottle in a red corset in 1999. The new one, as previewed in Lucire last week, features Latex and fishnets, inspired by the can-can.
Piper-Heidsieck CEO, Anne-Charlotte Amory, says that the design has been inspired directly by the catwalk fashion designs of Gaultier. ‘We are delighted with the creation,’ she says. ‘It’s Paris canaille, and la parisienne, which has given him the inspiration to create the Piper bottle, completely in line with his fashion inspiration and the audacity of Piper.’
‘The champagne is covered by fishnet stocking, so that’s quite sexy,’ says Gaultier.
There are general views below, including comments from Gaultier in French and English.
