On July 6, HRH Prince William attended an event for Skill Force, a charity helping students who are at risk of discontinuing their education. Skill Force creates alternative learning programmes for those students, with the assistance of ex-service personnel serving as instructors and role models. Prince William became its patron in February.
The event at the Tower of London was the first public one for the Prince as the organization’s patron.
He met with Lord Freeman, its Chairman of Trustees, Peter Cross, Chief Executive, and James Toomey, Operations Director. He was then introduced to Keri-Anne Payne, Olympic silver medallist and Skill Force instructor, and watched an activity run by Keith Howlett, another instructor.
