Renault has shown, at least in digital form, its new front passenger swivel seat, to be installed in the revised Clio 3.
We really like the Clio. Travel editor Stanley Moss test-drove one in France for Lucire many years ago, and publisher Jack Yan followed suit later in the year in New Zealand.
The small car has a big-car feel, and with extra features like this, it’ll make owning one an even more tempting proposition.
At the time, we actually preferred it for cruising to the much larger Holden Commodore—not something you expect to hear in any publication. It was more comfortable, handled better, and was more than enough for most journeys.
The swivel seat will be available in six western European markets from June, and as an option in France from April 7 for the Expression and Dynamique equipment levels, and the 20th anniversary limited edition version.
