Quality Hotel relaunchThe Quality Hotel at 221 Cuba Street, Wellington, relaunched on September 29 with a fashion show.
   Labels shown included Ashley Fogel, Starfish, Miranda Brown, Caroline Sills and Voon.
   The event was hosted by new GM Olivier Lacoua, who joins the Choice Hotels’ group after working with the Mercure and Ibis hotels in Wellington.
   A charity auction at the event raised NZ$600 for the Save the Children New Zealand’s Christchurch Earthquake Appeal fund.
   Choice Hotels is also running a bookers’ promotion. To enter, one makes a number of reservations through Choice Hotels, or stays in any three different Choice Hotels from the 35 across New Zealand. The first prize is flights for two to Los Angeles on V Australia, plus five nights’ accommodation in one of the 5,000 Choice Hotels in the US.
