Kate Middleton is very much in the news as HRH Prince William popped the question this week, revealing his mother’s sapphire and diamond engagement ring. Our colleagues in London have examined the changing styles of Miss Middleton in the above video.
Middleton does have fashion credentials as an accessories’ buyer for Jigsaw. The report mentions that she favours Issa, though no announcement on who the wedding dress designer will be has been made.
The Prince and Middleton met at St Andrew’s University in 2001.
Since being in the public eye as Prince William’s girlfriend, Middleton has been spoiled for choice with many designers happy to work with her. She has even won best-dressed accolades in the press as she moved from country-casual to glossy, according to the report.
The wedding is planned for the spring or summer of 2011. After the marriage of HRH Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden last year, and the engagement of Charlene Wittstock to HSH Prince Albert of Monaco, the beginning of the 2010s are a busy time for royal-watchers.
