With eight weeks to go to the Royal Wedding of HRH Prince William and Kate Middleton, Sarah Burton’s name is still top of the list in the British rumour mill.
ITN’s clip below has an endorsement from Anna Wintour of Vogue, though the quotation was taken from London Fashion Week in an unrelated context.
Burton is creative director of Alexander McQueen, and succeeded the designer after his suicide last year.
Bruce Oldfield is the other name being rumoured after both Kate Middleton and her mother were spotted visiting his boutique by royal-watchers. The Countess of Wessex has been seen at Oldfield’s boutique as well.
