Lady Gaga has already annoyed some people over her single, ‘Judas’, but the video has seen even more protests emerging, especially in the US.
Gaga denies exploiting Christian and Catholic symbols in her video, which appears to have been inspired by Madonna’s ‘Like a Prayer’.
‘I don’t view the video as a religious statement. I view it as social statement. I view it as a cultural statement,’ she told E! Entertainment Television.
‘It’s a metaphor. It’s not meant to be a biblical lesson.’
In other entertainment news, ITN has compiled an introductory video to Cheryl Cole, now that her role on the US version of The X Factor has been confirmed. Cheekily, it also introduces audiences to Newcastle, Girls Aloud, and Ashley Cole.
